You can reach the virtual city easily via our homepage. Here you can sign up for a free Second Life® account, after downloading the free software and log in you will find yourself in newBERLIN. Registered users can get to the city using this link.

With newBERLIN a new and visionary version of 3D-internet is coming to existence. It's an interactive location where you can experience the city, over and above newBERLIN is a platform for information and entertainment.

newBERLIN offers various events, reflecting the real stuff going on in Berlin. Furthermore artists and musicans make exhibitions and performances in the virtual city.

Kulturbahnhof:
The Kulturbahnhof is newBERLIN's first museum, located in the rebuilt trainstation Alexanderplatz. Here artists can exhibit their work.

Check out the sound of Berlin: newBERLINbeatZ is Berlin's first recordlabel for electronic music based in Second Life®. At its location at the virtual Alexanderplatz fans and producers can listen to Berlin's latest grooves as well as create and present their own tracks. Solarobelisk
Solarobelisk is a light- and sound-installation that is set-up in Berlin and further German cities. Simultaneously to its real exclosure at Kassel the installation was presented in newBERLIN. White Cube Gallery @ CUBIX

At the cubix cinema the White Cube Gallery in cooperation with YOUseeMEin3D.com has set-up a virtual branch.
Here exhibitions will be held that center around the merger of virtuality and reality.

Haus des Lehrers and Kongresshalle (House of the teacher and congress center):
The building constructed between 1962 and 1964 was the first skyskraper at Berlin Alexanderplatz. In newBERLIN it is reconstructed including the frieze "Unser Leben" (our life) and the installation Blinkenlights. The congress center belongs with the Haus des Lehrers and since 2003 is domiciled by BCC, Berliner Congress Center.
